Dr. Kevin Vaughn, PT, DPT, CSCS, Co-owner

Kevin Vaughn, PT, DPT, CSCS, graduated from Loma Linda University in 1996 with a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy. He completed his specialist Certification in Strength and Conditioning from the National Strength & Conditioning Association in 2000. He has extensive training in the McKenzie Method, Functional Manual Therapy, and received his Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree in 2009.

Erika Wilbur, MPT

Erika Wilbur, MSPT, OCS, received her Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois. She holds a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy from Washington University, and has been in clinical practice for over six years. In 2005, she received her Orthopedic Specialist Certification from the National Physical Therapy Board. This certification is held by fewer than 3% of Physical Therapists nationwide.

Dr. Jason Taresh, PT, DPT

Born and raised in Durham, Jason Taresh DPT, PT, is excited to be serving his hometown community with the unique experience he has developed as a clinician. After earning his Bachelor’s in Kinesiology at San Diego State University and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at West Coast University, Jason worked as a Sports Physical Therapist in San Diego for three years. He managed the care of numerous athletes at all levels of competition including olympic, paralympic, professional, collegiate and youth athletes.

Jason’s favorite aspect of working in sports rehabilitation is creating solutions to challenging situations and helping people navigate their rehabilitation process through all aspects of recovery and performance. He takes pride in performing thorough evaluations and making sure his patients feel heard and are a part of their own rehabilitation process.

When he is not in the clinic, you will find Jason on the golf course or spending time hiking and camping with his girlfriend Lauren and their Siberian Husky, Reagan.

Chad Layland, PTA, Co-owner

Chad Layland, PTA, graduated from Loma Linda University in 1996 with a degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant. He was born and raised in Chico. Chad has over ten years experience in outpatient orthopedics. He has completed post-graduate work involving golf rehabilitation and functional orthotic management. Chad also recently completed his certification to become an ART provider.

Katelin Goble, PTA

Katelin Goble, PTA, received her B.S. degree in Business Administration from Sonoma State University in 2009. After taking a few years off from school trying to decide what she wanted to do she decided to go back and do a Physical Therapist Assistant program. Katelin received an A.S. in Physical Therapist Assistant from College of the Sequoias in 2016.

Kaelin grew up playing sports and has always had an interest in health and fitness. She has been working at Coast Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine since May 2018. She loves the variety of different injuries she gets to help with in this setting. She considers it a joy to work with different ages at all different levels.

On her weekends, Katelin enjoys getting her own workouts in at the gym as well as getting outdoors with her Great Pyrenees. She grew up on the coast and has a love for being near water whether it be a beach, lake, river or spending hot Chico summers by a pool.

Andriana Rogers, PTA

Andi graduated PTA school in 2010 from the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, IN. After spending 20+ years in a pre-professional ballet company, she wanted to continue her studies where she could work with athletes and dancers. Her first job was with an outpatient facility in Chicago, IL splitting her time between a clinic and surgeon’s office. She moved to Chico in 2015 when she decided to start travel physical therapy in skilled nursing facilities, which allowed her to live in various locations in Oregon and California.

She recently moved back to Chico in 2021 – where she joined the Coast team – bought a house, got married and recently had her first daughter. In her free time Andi enjoys being active in the outdoors, traveling and gardening.
